Join us on a Sunday afternoon for a deeply restful yoga session. This special two hour workshop will be a relaxing blend of restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra to help your body and mind relax, restore and rebalance.
In this session, you will be guided through a series of restorative yoga poses to help the body to physically relax and release. Supported by bolsters, blankets and yoga blocks, poses will tailored to the needs of each individual to ensure maximum comfort and ease. Hands on adjustments and Reiki or energy healing will be offered.
The session will conclude with a deeply relaxing guided meditation, known as Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep. Through stages of body scan and breath awareness, you will achieve a level of relaxation that can supplement deep sleep.
This workshop will be led by Michele Insley, Kripalu trained yoga instructor and Reiki healer, and is suitable for all levels. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. All other props will be provided.
