Join David Roth as we welcome year #19 of the “Full Moon Open Mic” – here at the Center for the Spiritual Journey!  We’ll gather to sing, speak, regale, and reaffirm the beauty of organic and authentic community talent.

The Full Moon Open Mic (FMOM) began on December 21st, 2005 at the Eldia Market and Coffeehouse in Orleans.  David Roth wanted to offer a forum for local musicians, poets, storytellers, and artists where each would have an opportunity to be heard in a respectful and attentive environment.  The FMOM is now in it’s 19th year, and though the event is absolutely free, a voluntary donation bucket is put out for a local non-profit every time.  As a result of this we’ve received nearly $17,000 for more than 50 organizations over the years, and we’re thrilled to come to Chatham for the first time to continue our journey!
This time, we’ll accept donations for Best Buddies Massachusetts and Rhode Island! Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to friendship, pre-employment training, employment opportunities, leadership development and living around the world, for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).  Visit: Best

Summer Solstice Labyrinth Walk

June 20 @ 3:00 pm  4:00 pm

The labyrinth is a meditative walk on an ancient circular design and we will walk to the lovely guitar music of Rich Hunt.

Consider joining us prior to the walk at the Center for the Spiritual Journey from 1 to 2pm for stone painting. Stones will be placed around the unity tree in the labyrinth peace garden during the walk itself at 3 pm.

All are welcome. This is a free offering (but donations are always welcome).

The Chatham Labyrinth is located in Chase Park. Take Cross St. (off of Main St.). Bear left at Shattuck Place and follow to the parking lot in front of the windmill. The labyrinth is on the other side of the windmill and is handicap-accessible.
