Writing as an Inspiring and Sacred Practice

May 15 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

with Kathy Budreski & Bonnie Fedge

In this 6 week workshop series we will be using books by Julia Cameron, and excerpts from other inspiring authors, with an accent on healing and spiritual connection from writing.

We will encourage participants to experience freewriting, prompts, quotes and excerpts, discussion and dialogue, sharing and feedback in a supportive and non-judgmental group. We will learn that writing as a way of healing has great value, and will be rewarding, relaxing and fun.

No experience necessary.

Kathy is a trained facilitator for the What If Work-shop Programs and Death Cafe’, empowering participants to prepare for the unexpected and end of life issues. She teaches Memoir writing workshops and Writing as a Way of Healing. Kathy is looking forward to co-facilitating a new class with Bonnie Fedge.

Bonnie Fedge has a Masters of Science in Education and has taught writing at The New School University, Columbia University, and internationally through grant scholarships to address social justice issues in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and Chillan, Chile. She has practiced the writing techniques in the book The Artist’s Way since it’s publication, and others by Julia Cameron. She looks forward to working with Kathy to share the experience with you.
