How do we strengthen our structure for optimal movement, and make adjustments to our techniques to help ourselves avoid injuries in our exercise practice? Whether you are a young athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone looking to prevent injury, Orly’s functional training is for you. Orly will teach you the correct way to do your exercises and ensure that you don’t sacrifice good form and posture for the sake of finishing a set or routine! This group class will concentrate on muscle stability, balance, and mind/body reaction time. Class will end with 15 min of stretching.
Orly has been in the fitness industry for more than 20 years and holds an undergraduate degree from Pace University. In addition, Orly holds highly regarded certifications from Medical Exercise Specialist, National American Sport and Medicine, and American Council on Exercise. Whether it is on a bike, in a gym, or outdoors, Orly’s objective is to help people achieve their fitness goals and have fun doing it. She has worked with competitive athletes, elderly clients, and those recovering from injuries. Orly’s prescription for a healthy mind and body is a good balance of cardio exercise, strength training and a healthy eating.
