Qi or Chi is the life force energy that resides in all life forms. When working with it skillfully, one may experience greater vitality, a deep inner calm, and a stronger, more flexible body. This class combines gentle movement, breath and self-applied massage practices to clear stress and tension, enhance mental focus, and activate life force energy to flow more efficiently throughout yourself. The benefits of Qi Gong have long been studied to improve and optimize health and well-being. This is a beginners class and is suitable for everyone.
Class led by Oshana Biondi, a physical therapist dedicated to the art of movement and healing. Her professional studies and background include Qi Gong, Pilates, the Feldenkrais Method, Somatic Expressive Art Therapy, dance, myofascial bodywork, and intuitive healing.
