At its essence the practice of yoga is about cultivating embodied awareness, a tranquility that provides both stability and easefulness. These gently-paced classes weave together awareness of body, breath, and mind in thoughtfully-sequenced practices appropriate for all levels. Classes incorporate the soft movements of floor-based somatic awareness with traditional asana for a deeply nourishing experience.

Teacher Jenna Sammartino is known for her contemplative approach to yoga, creative use of props to explore the felt sense of the body, and incorporation of Buddhist philosophy in her teachings. Her classes regularly integrate wisdom themes to complement movement themes. She is a Prajna Yoga Teacher and certified SATYA (somatic awareness for yoga) teacher with decades of training in traditional yoga asana, meditation, somatic movement, and anatomy. She is registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500 level.
