All are welcome!
Through his book, “Life After Doom”, Brian McLaren invites us to engage honestly with
the profound challenges of our time, including ecological overshoot, economic injustice,
and the growing risk of societal collapse. Drawing on insights from philosophers, poets,
scientists, and theologians, McLaren explores the complexity of hope, the necessity of
grief, and a call to reimagine how we think, live, and belong in these turbulent times.
In this circle, we will come together in a spirit of openness and courage to reflect, share,
and support one another. Grounded in community, we can find the resilience, wisdom,
and love to face an uncertain future.
We will D.A.R.E. to:
DISCOVER – Read and engage with selected passages across five sessions
ACT – Commit to small, meaningful personal actions between gatherings
REFLECT – Deepen our understanding through meditation and group dialogue
EMBRACE– Carry forward new perspectives or commitments that support meaningful
change in our lives.
