A gentle form of Hatha yoga for beginners. Hatha yoga involves the practice of physical postures in conjunction with awareness of the breath to help develop mental focus and to connect the mind, body, and spirit. We will meet your body where it is, recognizing and honoring abilities and limitations. In a Kripalu yoga class, there is a specific structure that includes centering, warmups, asana sequences, meditation and relaxation.

All are welcome.  Yoga mats are provided at the Center but you are welcome to bring your own.

Martha graduated from Kripalu 200-hour yoga teacher training in February 2023.
