Each Thursday, we are open from 11-4 to walk in for coffee, tea, conversation, questions… and from 1-2 PM we share music, crafts, poetry, or an introduction to an upcoming workshop or event.
You are always welcome!
We’ll have an introduction to the upcoming workshop — Getting to know the 5 Seasonal Elements with Jenny Wood! We’ll have a taster to what the 5 elements are, our relationship to them, qualities as they relate to ourselves and our friends, and what to expect from the course coming up….
Here’s a little snapshot:
What’s your favorite season? Is there a season you dislike? Why?
Think about the energy of Winter on Cape Cod: cold temperatures, frozen ponds, stark beauty, not many people around – and think about the energy of Summer: tons of people, very lively, lots of flowers and activity everywhere we look. The energy of each season lives within you as well as in the Nature, and these seasonal energies are expressed in your behavior and the way you navigate life.
While each of us tends to resonate with more than one seasonal energy, there is one that tends to dominate the way we behave and interact with others. Understanding our strongest energies (called Elements in this worldview that originated in ancient China) helps us navigate life more effectively, improve communication with others, and find great fulfillment in all our pursuits.
