Journeying on Thursdays – Building Shadow Boxes to Honor Your Loved One with Angela Craig

June 6 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join us to learn about Angela’s workshop where she uses mementos and your inner creativity to build a shadow box to honor your loved one who has
passed.

The combination of art and creativity using special items that connect you so personally and uniquely to your loved one, offers a type of cathartic healing in and of itself. The goal is to help ease grief through the process of celebrating a loved one’s life. Expressing love & gratitude helps heal our heart.

Angela will have 3 boxes on display to give us a feel of the finished box.

Angela is a retired innkeeper by trade and a seeker of all things magical, metaphysical, and spiritual. I am a philosopher at heart. My husband of 33 years who was also my business partner, passed away 10 years ago.

Angela shares, “I don’t really think there is any way to prepare for this life-changing experience but I did discover, as time went by, that there were tools in my toolbox to help me through the days, weeks, months, and years without my life partner. And that ultimately, I could comfortably and quite naturally continue our relationship across the veil. After realizing I wanted to share some of the practices that had helped me move from grief to grace, I created the Spiritual Care Package with many of these tools. (www.spiritualcarepackage.net). One of the first exercises recommended to me by a grief therapist ultimately led me to offer this workshop entitled “The Art of Building Shadow Boxes to Honor Your Loved One.””
