When you register you will get a Zoom link by email to join the class.
This gathering will happen on the last Tuesday of every month and will provide a comfortable atmosphere in which to share a respectful, thought provoking, and life affirming conversation on the topics of death and dying. The goal of a Death Café is to increase awareness and comfort with the topic of death, thereby helping people make the most of their finite lives. It is a group-directed discussion of death with no specific agenda and is not affiliated with any religious organization. The Death Café was founded by Jon Underwood in September 2011and there are now over 13,000 Death Café’s in 80 countries.
Coffee/tea and cake are traditionally served at the gathering. We encourage our virtual participants to enjoy their cuppa and a lovely treat in their own setting.
This group will be led by Kathy Budreski and Jane Ford, who have facilitated Death Cafés in Massachusetts for the past several years. Their bios are on our website.
