The FMOM is now in it’s 19th year\, and though the event is absolutely free\, a voluntary donation bucket is put out for a local non-profit every time. As a result of this we’ve received nearly $17\,000 for more than 50 organizations over the years\, and we’re thrilled to come to Chatham to continue our journey! www.davidrothmusic.com \nWe will be fundraising for another worthy organization! \nWhat does anyone think of pot luck snacks/beverages at 6:30 that evening? A little more time to socialize and visit before we take in all the beauty…if you come early and can bring a little something to share\, awesome. Otherwise\, 7 PM it is! \nOrleans resident David Roth is a singer\, songwriter\, and recording artist who has taken his songs\, experience\, and expertise to a wide variety of venues in this and other countries full-time for more than three decades. His work has found its way to Carnegie Hall\, the United Nations\, several Chicken Soup for the Soul books\, the Kennedy Center\, Peter\, Paul\, & Mary and Kingston Trio CDs\, NASA’s Goddard Space Center (his song “Rocket Science” sailed on the space shuttle Atlantis in 2009)\, the Rise Up Singing and Rise Again (sequel) songbooks\, the Kerrville (TX) New Folk Award\, and 15 CDs on the Wind River and Stockfisch (Germany) labels. The former artist-in-residence at New York’s Omega Institute has been on many of Christine Lavin’s seminal Rounder Records compilations\, and has also taught singing\, songwriting\, and performance at many music camps around the country. David serves as Executive Director for SummerSongs Songwriting Camp (NY) and is also creator of the Cape Cod Songwriters Retreat and the Cape’s Full Moon Open Mic which since 2005 has provided a forum for musicians to connect and be heard while at the same time collecting donations (nearing $17\,000 to date) for local non-profits to help neighbors in need.

SUMMARY:9D Breathwork
DESCRIPTION:9D Breathwork\nwith Nicole from Wild Heart Compass\nSunday\, October 18\, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM\n$55\n\n\n\n9-D Breathwork is empowering energetic Alignment.  The Sacred Breath Method is a ceremonial\, live guided breathwork and energy experience that brings all of you into alignment — and returns you to yourself. \nYou arrive with what you are calling in\, want to feel or learn. The breath opens the heart with safety\, and what you receive is specific to you\, sourced from you\, in your own voice. \nHeld within a container of GEO Love sacred geometry\, 9D Breathwork immersive sound\, and real-time intuitive presence\, this experience opens with a grounding and energy alignment meditation before moving into an intentional breathwork journey that works in layers. \nFirst\, the breath opens what has been held — the stagnation\, the weight\, the things you have been carrying quietly for too long. For some that looks like finding their voice. For others it is emotional release\, or setting down what was never theirs to hold. \nThen something shifts. Insights arrive. Ideas surface. A clarity that feels less like thinking and more like remembering. And then the breath brings you home — to a place that feels peaceful\, whole\, and held. Where you move through life’s experiences with ease\, seen\, and supported. There is space before the breath to arrive with your intention\, and space after to explore what it means and how to carry it forward into daily life. \nThis is a place for the guides\, the nurturers\, the protectors — to feel what they so freely give to others. This is the kind of experience that brings you home to yourself — steady\, grounded\, and sovereign in your own knowing. \nExperience Level: Expansion  \nWHO THIS IS FOR\nThis is for you if you have done the inner work and you are ready to move — not process\, move. If you are in a season of growth\, building something\, stepping into something bigger\, and you want your nervous system and your energy field to actually match the version of you that is showing up. You know how to breathe. Now we use it with intention. Expect depth\, some intensity\, and a clear energetic reset that lands in the body\, not just the mind. \n\nFill out my LGL Form!

SUMMARY:Qi Gong on the Labyrinth
DESCRIPTION:Qi Gong on the Labyrinth\nWith Andrea Belford\nat the Chatham Labyrinth in Chase Park\n10-11 AM on the third Monday of each month\n$20 each \nMonday\, Sept 21 – Autumnal Equinox – focus on the energies of light and dark in this transitional period.\nMonday\, Oct 19 – Moving with Grace – like the trees and animals in nature\nMonday\, Nov 16 – Gratitude – focus on balancing the energy in our bodies\, so that we can appreciate all that life offers.\nMonday\, Dec 21 – Winter Solstice – embrace the quiet energy of the upcoming winter season. \nIf you’ve enjoyed the Monday evening Labyrinth walks\, at the Chatham Labyrinth\, we invite you to continue the tradition with a monthly QiGong practice on the Labyrinth on Monday mornings! \nIf you haven’t tried QiGong before\, think of it as a moving meditation.  QiGong is energy work.  This is a self-healing practice where we follow a series of slow and gentle movements (all standing) that combine proper posture\, healthy breathing and mindfulness.  QiGong helps us to release any stagnant energies\, so that we may reach our greatest self-healing potential – both physically and emotionally. \nOur focus is on the 5 elements of nature- Wood\, Fire\, Earth\, Metal\, and Water – where we aim to connect with the energies of the natural world.  As we practice QiGong outside\, and move our bodies with nature\, we feel more of a oneness with nature\, more rooted\, and become aware of the deep energetic relationship we have with everything and everyone around us.  Not only does this deepen our connection with our surroundings\, but it helps to cultivate a stronger connection with our inner nature – leaving us feeling more at peace\, with ourselves and with one another. \n \nAndrea Belford has been practicing QiGong for over 8 years\, partnering with organizations to bring her practice to beautiful outdoor spaces so that people can connect with the elements and energies of nature.  Visit capecodqigong.org for more info \n  \nFill out my LGL Form!

SUMMARY:Sacred American Music of Hildegard
DESCRIPTION:Sacred Music on Hildegard von Bingen\nwith Joe Marchio\n4 week series\nMondays\, at 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM\nOctober 19\, 26\, November 2\, 9\n$100 for series of 4\n$25 each \nHildegard von Bingen was a German composer\, abbess\, mystic\, visionary\, herbal healer\, scientist\, poet\, and so much more.
