SUMMARY:Qi Gong on the Labyrinth
DESCRIPTION:Qi Gong on the Labyrinth\nWith Andrea Belford\nat the Chatham Labyrinth in Chase Park\n10-11 AM on the third Monday of each month\n$20 each \nMonday\, Sept 21 – Autumnal Equinox – focus on the energies of light and dark in this transitional period.\nMonday\, Oct 19 – Moving with Grace – like the trees and animals in nature\nMonday\, Nov 16 – Gratitude – focus on balancing the energy in our bodies\, so that we can appreciate all that life offers.\nMonday\, Dec 21 – Winter Solstice – embrace the quiet energy of the upcoming winter season. \nIf you’ve enjoyed the Monday evening Labyrinth walks\, at the Chatham Labyrinth\, we invite you to continue the tradition with a monthly QiGong practice on the Labyrinth on Monday mornings! \nIf you haven’t tried QiGong before\, think of it as a moving meditation.  QiGong is energy work.  This is a self-healing practice where we follow a series of slow and gentle movements (all standing) that combine proper posture\, healthy breathing and mindfulness.  QiGong helps us to release any stagnant energies\, so that we may reach our greatest self-healing potential – both physically and emotionally. \nOur focus is on the 5 elements of nature- Wood\, Fire\, Earth\, Metal\, and Water – where we aim to connect with the energies of the natural world.  As we practice QiGong outside\, and move our bodies with nature\, we feel more of a oneness with nature\, more rooted\, and become aware of the deep energetic relationship we have with everything and everyone around us.  Not only does this deepen our connection with our surroundings\, but it helps to cultivate a stronger connection with our inner nature – leaving us feeling more at peace\, with ourselves and with one another. \n \nAndrea Belford has been practicing QiGong for over 8 years\, partnering with organizations to bring her practice to beautiful outdoor spaces so that people can connect with the elements and energies of nature.  Visit capecodqigong.org for more info \n  \nFill out my LGL Form!
