SUMMARY:Living Authentically … In A World That Would Rather You Didn’t - A Life Coaching Group
DESCRIPTION:with Brad Glass\nFour Sessions – October 4\, 18\, November 1 and 15\n12:00pm – 1:30pm\nSession fee: $30 or $100 for 4 \nThere’s a voice inside you\, uniquely your own\, inviting you to live your inner truth. Had you learned to listen to this voice early in life\, life today might hold meaning\, joy and purpose – a reflection of your longings and dreams. \nMore likely\, however\, you learned to listen to the voices of others instead – about how life (and you) should be. The message is consistent: if you know more\, try harder\, stay busy\, be productive\, be socially acceptable and get it all right\, you’ll earn a lot of money\, so you can have a lot of “stuff\,” and then be happy. Sound familiar? We even think of it as the American Dream. (The original American dream promised freedom of spirit. Where did that dream go?) \nBy learning to trust what matters least (the thinking of others)\, we lost sight of what matters most\, (our own inner truth). In so doing\, we also lose self-trust\, the primary ingredient in authentic living. \nJoin me in “Conversations for Possibility” – relatively unstructured\, bi-weekly participative sessions grounded in your own personal experiences in life. I’ll frame each conversation around one of the perceived obstacles you ex-perience to living a life you love. We’ll then “head out for the territory\,” exploring new ways for you to reclaim your life’s potential. By getting to know\, perhaps for the first time\, the outdated\, invalid assumptions and beliefs that have driven your thinking\, probably for years\, you can learn to release their stranglehold on your potential\, thereby opening up whole new worlds. Join fellow travelers on a journey to living a life you love. \nThis program is informal\, approachable and practical. I will include follow-up notes from each meeting via email\, along with personal practices to guide your becoming. Our learning environment is one of respect\, reverence\, non-judgment\, openness and humor … leading you to the truth that is innately yours to reclaim. Bring an open mind and the willingness to be changed by new perspectives. Leave home most of what you’ve learned on how life “should be” – including all the reasons you can’t live your truth. \nFor over 40 years\, Bradford Glass has inspired courageous professionals\, leaders and their teams to challenge conventional thinking\, and instead take a stand for living with authenticity & freedom. As a manager\, as an educator\, and as a coach\, Brad evokes in others uncommon clarity and perspective – about self\, life\, work and world – allowing them to release “the way it is” and step with confidence into “the way it could be.” Connect with Brad: a complimentary conversation will explore your potential\, and could change your view of what’s possible. SUMMARY:Family Systems Reframe
DESCRIPTION:with Ben Emery\nThursday\, Dec 5 10-11:30am \nJoin us for a transformative workshop designed to navigate the emotional aftermath of the recent presidential election. Without revealing personal political preferences\, we’ll explore biases\, shared human needs\, and the cultural divides that shape us. Using interactive tools like systemic constellations and Liberating Structures\, we’ll create a space for humor\, healing\, and connection across differences. This experiment in civil discourse challenges the norm of like-minded association\, offering an alternative path to understanding. Walk away feeling heartened\, less rigid in your perspectives\, and more connected to others\, regardless of political beliefs. Together\, we’ll discover hope in unlikely places. \nThe Family Systems Reframe draws on the European modality known as Systemic Constellations.\nWhat is a constellation? The shape that is taken when the people\, agendas\, desires\, blockages\, inherited stories and other invisible forces that inform a given person’s way of being in the world are invited to assume physical form in the present\, despite all the reasons to keep such things hidden away. \nThe Family Systems Reframe workshop takes a decisive step back from group therapy in favor of something more akin to fireside storying; along with all the laughter and camaraderie that might come with it. \nBen Emery has a Master of Restorative Practices in Youth Counseling\, International Institute for Restorative Practices\, Bachelor of Human Resource Management\, University of Colorado Boulder\, Famiienaktivationsmanegment Certified [Family System Reboot in Child Protection]. Diakonie-Dusseldorf. Dusseldorf\, Germany\, 12 year scholar under Stephen Jenkinson’s Orphan Wisdom School for Grief Practitioners\, Community Accountability Board Certified. CURJ. Boulder\, Restorative Circle Certified. Longmont Community Justice Partnership. Longmont\, Colorado\, Victim Offender Dialogue Certified\, Pennsylvania Office of the Victim Advocate\, Transformative Mediation Certified. Pittsburgh Mediation Center\, Hospice Companion Certified. Odyssey Healthcare\, PA\nAlchemical Constellation Training Certification in progress. \nFill out my LGL Form!

SUMMARY:Cacao and Sound Journey
DESCRIPTION:Amid the holiday hustle and the quiet magic of the winter solstice\, take time to pause\, reflect\, and restore. This class will begin with a sacred cacao ceremony\, inviting you to sip on a warm cup of cacao and connect with its spirit – a gentle plant medicine known for opening the heart and fostering inner peace. As the cacao softens your spirit you’ll be immersed in a southing sound bath\, where waves of sound will guide you into deep relaxation. \nDuring the sound healing\, Reiki will be offered to further enhance this transformative healing experience\, calming the mind\, restoring balance\, and nurturing your inner light during this season of reflection and renewal. Come as you are and leave feeling centered\, connected\, and refreshed. \nWhat to bring: A favorite mug and your “nest\,” maybe consisting of a mat\, blanket\, and pillow (the center will have some available to borrow as well). \n\n\n\n\n\nAs a certified yoga teacher and reiki practitioner\, Ally Concra is passionate about guiding others on their healing journeys. She integrates a variety of healing modalities\, including yoga\, breathwork\, plant meditations\, cacao ceremonies\, and energy work. Whether you’re stepping into a yoga class or joining for a ceremony or circle\, she’s here to support you with an open heart and a welcoming presence.\n\n\n\n\n\nNorah Bourbon has been offering soundbaths and accompanying yoga classes since 2014. His approach to meditation draws on all of these influences\, but is intended to keep things simple\, accessible\, and useful for students of any meditative discipline…including those who are just beginning to explore meditation. \nWe will devote some time to establishing a supportive meditation posture\, and then will focus on the establishment of concentration. As we get into the heart of the retreat\, we will aim to deepen concentration and will learn how to identify and guard against subtle laxity (a pleasant\, rather dreamy state that leads to a practice plateau that persists; it is a somewhat common issue for experienced meditators). Most of our time will be devoted to silent practice together. \nPractices will include sitting meditation\, walking meditation\, and mindful eating. Participants will have opportunities to ask about their practices throughout the retreat\, and Rich will help you to address any challenges you encounter. Talking will be kept to a minimum\, particularly on Saturday and Sunday\, as participants make the practices their own\, and to allow the silence to support a deepening of experience. \nThe Monday orientation/introduction will be on Zoom.  In person meetings will begin with an evening session on Thursday\, January 9.  We will enjoy full days of practice on January 10 and 11\, and a half day of practice on January 12 from 9:00am – 12pm.  Participants should plan to attend all sessions\, barring emergencies. \nParticipants should bring food to consume during our 1-hour lunch break and snacks they might require. Water\, and hot beverages will be provided. \nREGISTRATION CLOSES 12/31/24

SUMMARY:Soul Care Circle - Speaking and Listening from the Heart
DESCRIPTION:Are you seeking a spiritual circle that will support and encourage you during these challenging times? Each month we will gather on Zoom to share a spiritual practice together\, listen deeply to one another\, and support the unfolding of our individual and collective spiritual journeys. As Clarissa Pinkola Estes one said\, “We were born for these times”. And these times demand that we seek and find our soul purpose together. \nWe ask that everyone in the Circle consent to our “Circle Agreements” \n\nBe fully present\, giving your attention to whomever is speaking\nLimit outside noises\, and distractions by creating a sacred private space for our circles\nSpeak from your heart about whatever is coming up for you in this moment\nListen with Respect and even if we disagree\, acknowledge that everyone has a right to their opinion\nThis is a sacred community and confidentiality is required\n\nWe look forward to being with you.  All are Welcome! \nRuah Bull M.A.\,M.Ed. is a spiritual director\, educator and retreat facilitator. She works with people on a variety of spiritual paths who are looking to connect with and trust their inner wisdom. A student of Celtic Christianity\, Native American shamanism\, archetypal psychology and subtle energy work\, Ruah is passionate about participating in the current emergence of a spirituality that is embodied\, intuitive and contemplative. \nJanet Dwinells\, M.A has been a peace and love mentor and alchemical hypnotherapist for 30+ years. She is dedicated to creating a community of Love Weavers\, those who want to make this world a better place for themselves and others by living as open-hearted beings. If you have questions\, please contact her at janet@visionkeeper.com \nDr. Carol Marcy moved to Cape Cod in 2017\, and began exploring ways to become a mentor of conscious holistic heart-centered living. Now as a forest bathing guide\, poetry and meditation teacher she enjoys helping participants feel safe in a group setting\, engaging in a journey of expanded awareness though heart-centered meditations\, play\, creativity\, partnering with Nature and the Heart. This deeply spiritual process is without prejudice toward any particular spirit. \nMonthly Soul Care Circle – First Thursday of the month for 6 months\nDec 5\, Jan 2\, Feb 6\, Mar 6\, Apr 3\, May 1\n6:00-7:30pm\n$10 per session\n$50 for all 6\nFacilitated by Ruah Bull\, Janet Dwinells and Carol Marcy \nFill out my LGL Form!
