She has over 4000 teaching hours and is considered an ‘experienced teacher’. She is devoted to her yoga studies and continues her education in yoga asana (the physical practice) as well as yogic philosophy and history\, and the “deeper practices” of yoga. As a result\, she is influenced and inspired by a variety of teachers in other styles of yoga which include yin yoga\, ashtanga yoga and various meditation practices. \nWhen you register you will receive a confirmation email for the class with the zoom link. \nFill out my LGL Form!

SUMMARY:Sound Bath of Solfeggio Tones
DESCRIPTION:Program cost: $30\nwith Bonnie Fedge \nThe Solfeggio Tones originated as six frequencies proven effective at healing the body. They were found in Gregorian Chants\, lost and then found again\, and researched for results. They are 396hz\, 417hz\, 528hz\, 639hz\, 741hz\, 852hz. Occasionally chimes\, drum beats\, and other tones will be included for variation and receptivity. \nThis is one of many styles of Sound Baths. Comfortably lie down\, and just take it in. We hope you try it! \nBonnie Fedge is a Reiki Master\, Advanced Akashic Records\, is completing her certification in Essential Oils and has used the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for years. SUMMARY:Forest Bathing Walking Meditation
DESCRIPTION:with Carol Marcy at Sylvan Gardens in Chatham. You should be at the Center for the Spiritual Journey\, 880 Main Street\, Chatham\, MA no later than 12:20pm to meet Carol Marcy who will accompany you to Sylvan Gardens and lead your walk.\nPreregistration is required by 5pm on the Monday before the class.\n$10 per session \nThis concept of Forest Bathing grew out of a practice in Japan called Shinrin-yoku that spread to China and Korea and now to the United States. It is about swimming in the living being of the forest: drinking in the smells\, feeling the breeze on your skin\, hearing it move through the trees\, soaking up the warm healing rays of the sun\, touching the earth with awareness. Because this practice is about slowing down\, focusing on the abundant life in and around you\, it is immensely healing. You return from this experience refreshed\, calmer\, more at peace on the inside. Your body\, mind\, spirit and heart have had an opportunity to feel a deep sense of connection with yourself and with Nature. \nThese walks are led by Carol Marcy\, who has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and certification as a Meditation teacher. She has been leading meditative walks on Cape Cod for several years. Please join us for a wonderful heart opening experience. The walk is approximately 1 mile long on easy and beautiful terrain. Please dress comfortably for hiking. Be sure that you are warm enough because we go slowly. \nYou should be at the Center for the Spiritual Journey\, 880 Main Street\, Chatham\, MA no later than 12:20pm to meet Carol Marcy who will accompany you to Sylvan Gardens and lead your walk. \nEmail Tricia at info@csjcapecod.org with questions. \nFill out my LGL Form!

SUMMARY:Full Moon Open Mic with David Roth
DESCRIPTION:Join David Roth as we welcome year #19 of the “Full Moon Open Mic” – here at the Center for the Spiritual Journey! We’ll gather to sing\, speak\, regale\, and reaffirm the beauty of organic and authentic community talent. \nSign up opens at 6:30pm. \nThe Full Moon Open Mic (FMOM) began on December 21st\, 2005 at the Eldia Market and Coffeehouse in Orleans. David Roth wanted to offer a forum for local musicians\, poets\, storytellers\, and artists where each would have an opportunity to be heard in a respectful and attentive environment. The FMOM is now in it’s 19th year\, and though the event is absolutely free\, a voluntary donation bucket is put out for a local non-profit every time. As a result of this we’ve received nearly $17\,000 for more than 50 organizations over the years\, and we’re thrilled to come to Chatham for the first time to continue our journey! www.davidrothmusic.com \nThis time\, we’ll accept donations for Best Buddies Massachusetts and Rhode Island! Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to friendship\, pre-employment training\, employment opportunities\, leadership development and living around the world\, for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Visit: Best Buddies.org \nOrleans resident David Roth is a singer\, songwriter\, and recording artist who has taken his songs\, experience\, and expertise to a wide variety of venues in this and other countries full-time for more than three decades. His work has found its way to Carnegie Hall\, the United Nations\, several Chicken Soup for the Soul books\, the Kennedy Center\, Peter\, Paul\, & Mary and Kingston Trio CDs\, NASA’s Goddard Space Center (his song “Rocket Science” sailed on the space shuttle Atlantis in 2009)\, the Rise Up Singing and Rise Again (sequel) songbooks\, the Kerrville (TX) New Folk Award\, and 15 CDs on the Wind River and Stockfisch (Germany) labels. The former artist-in-residence at New York’s Omega Institute has been on many of Christine Lavin’s seminal Rounder Records compilations\, and has also taught singing\, songwriting\, and performance at many music camps around the country. David serves as Executive Director for SummerSongs Songwriting Camp (NY) and is also creator of the Cape Cod Songwriters Retreat and the Cape’s Full Moon Open Mic which since 2005 has provided a forum for musicians to connect and be heard while at the same time collecting donations (nearing $17\,000 to date) for local non-profits to help neighbors in need.

One of the greatest benefits that Bevin has experienced in her practice of yoga and meditation is a deep inner peace\, a stillness and the profound connection with Self and others.  This experience of connection is especially potent in this age of disconnect and isolation. From this experience\, blossoms a knowing\, which in turn leads to a shift in how you experience the world. \nFill out my LGL Form!

SUMMARY:Forest Bathing Walking Meditation
DESCRIPTION:with Carol Marcy at Sylvan Gardens in Chatham. You should be at the Center for the Spiritual Journey\, 880 Main Street\, Chatham\, MA no later than 12:20pm to meet Carol Marcy who will accompany you to Sylvan Gardens and lead your walk.\n$10 per session \nThis concept of Forest Bathing grew out of a practice in Japan called Shinrin-yoku that spread to China and Korea and now to the United States.
