Thoughts Like Rain: Three Part Meditation Intensive

This week of shared practice is suitable for all levels of experience, including those with no experience.
Part One: Silent meditations via Zoom, 7:30am – 8:00am, Monday – Saturday (January 9 – January 14). If you dislike starting your days early, you can skip these sessions…but please make time to meditate on your own, in silence, on these days….soon after you wake up.
Part Two: Meditation Instructions, practice, and answers to questions, via Zoom, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00am – 10:00am. Audio recordings of these sessions will be sent to anyone who wants them, especially those who cannot attend because of work or other conflicts..
Part Three: Half Day Silent Retreat, Sunday, January 15, 10am – 2:45pm with Mindful Lunch from 12:00 – 12:45pm. All participants are encouraged to come to The Center for the Spiritual Journey and benefit from the support of being in the meditative field, with other meditators. However, we are prepared to do a hybrid retreat so that people can participate via Zoom if they are unable to attend in person.
Richard Hunt, Ph.D., is a long-time meditator, has attended several dozen retreats of 7+ days, and has been a student of the Diamond Approach for over 25 years. He has been leading meditation groups and workshops for The Center for the Spiritual Journey for the past 5 years. He borrows from Tibetan Buddhist, Zen, and Vipassana traditions, and occasionally adds relevant information from psychology (he is a retired Clinical Psychologist).
Once you register for the program, you will be sent a confirmation email from firstname.lastname@example.org (check you spam if you do not receive it), it will contain the Zoom link that you will click to join the Zoom meetings for the entire week and the Sunday retreat. You will use the same link for all sessions.
