Walk of Giving Thanks CANCELLED TODAY Redo 11/20

November 13 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

CANCELLED  – Rescheduled to Sunday, Nov. 20 at 1:00pm at Chase Park, Chatham, MA

Pilgrim’s Landing invites the community to gather for a guided walk of Giving Thanks on Sunday, November 13 at 2pm. Please bring non-perishable food to place on the path as you walk. Our goal is to line the entire path with food which will then be shared with the larger community through the local Food Bank. This is the 7th year that Pilgrim’s Landing has sponsored this opportunity for the community to come together in solidarity with all who are hungry in body and soul.

November is also National Native American Heritage Month which offers us an opportunity to include the many shared values we have with Indigenous people: generosity, gratitude, and community. We give thanks for the harvest season and the opportunity to share our food with our community.

“We take from the land only that which we require and give honor and thanks to the Creator for the gifts that have been shared with you to share with others … and by doing so, we ensure a continued natural flow of life.” “The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous kitchen”

The labyrinth is located off Shattuck Place beyond the Gristmill in Chase Park, Chatham. The walk will be cancelled in the event of rain. There is ample parking, and all are welcome!
